A father and son are facing homicide charges in the weekend death of a Montgomery man.
Montgomery police report that Jamahl Jackson, 36, of Montgomery was fatally shot on May 4. Police and Fire Medics found Jackson at 4 a.m. while responding to a shooting report on Highland Avenue at Hall Street. Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.
MPD identified both Curtis London Sr., 37, and his son Curtis London Jr., 19, both of Montgomery, as suspects in the death. The father and son are both charged with capital murder and as of May 4 were being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
MPD has not released details about how the shooting took place. The investigation is ongoing.
