President Donald Trump’s military parade is set to take place on the streets of Washington, D.C. on June 14. Some will watch from the nation’s capital, while others can watch it unfold live on social media and television.
June 14 will be a busy day as is includes: the U.S. military parade, Flag Day, and the president will be turning 79 years old. And while the military parade isn’t officially for the president’s birthday, Trump has been pushing for a military parade through the streets of D.C. since his first term.
On June 6, Trump posted a video on Truth Social, inviting Americans to the June 14 parade, which he described as an “unforgettable” celebration, “one like you’ve never seen before.”

This military spectacle and unofficial birthday party for the president kicks off on Constitution Avenue near the National Mall and starts at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Where can I watch Trump’s military parade?
Events for the 250th birthday celebration of the U.S. Army, which includes the parade, will be livestreamed on all U.S. Army social media platforms.
NBC News, ABC News and CBS News have plans for coverage on their streaming networks. Fox News plans to provide four hours of coverage of the event starting at 6 p.m. ET.
Most local news stations are also planning coverage for the event.

Who will be performing during the June 14 military parade?
There is expected to be a concert that will feature “5-7 musical acts” with country music performers, not yet identified, according to Axios. But there are some performers that we know will be at the event.
Country singer Scotty Hasting, a former Army infantryman who was wounded in Afghanistan, will be performing during the parade along with Nashville’s Noah Hicks.
DJ Nyla Symone, one of New York’s youngest DJs, will also perform at the U.S. Army’s Grand Military Parade.
What is the military parade on June 14 celebrating?
Though the “Grand Military Parade and Celebration,” is on the same day as the president’s 79th birthday, event organizers and administration officials say it is solely to celebrate the U.S. Army.
Vince Haley, director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, said that Trump is planning “an historic celebration of the Army’s 250th birthday.”
“As one of the first events of the year-long celebration of our 250th anniversary, this commemorative parade will be a fitting tribute to the service, sacrifice, and selflessness of the brave men and women who have worn the uniform and devoted their lives to defending the greatest experiment in liberty known to man,” Haley said without mentioning the president’s birthday in the statement.
Plans for the June 14 parade began in earnest about a month ago. Yet as focus squares in on the U.S. Army’s 250 years of existence, other branches are notably left out. The Navy, which also celebrates its 250th anniversary this year in October, has no plans for a similar parade, a spokesperson told USA TODAY. Neither does the Marine Corps, for its 250th in November.

How much will Trump’s military parade cost?
According to USA TODAY, the latest figures for the cost is around $30 million, a figure that could rise as high as $45 million.
The Army has promised to repair any city streets damaged by the parade, including those caused by the massive tankers rolling through, according to USA TODAY. Cleanup costs and police were not part of the estimate.
What events will take place during Trump’s military parade?
There are expected to be military tanks, flyovers and more than 7,000 soldiers marching down the streets of Washington, D.C., including Army parachuters jumping from aircraft, landing and giving Trump an American flag for his birthday, Pentagon officials said, according to Axios.
