Quick response from firefighters saved occupants from a trailer fire early Saturday in Millersburg.
Holmes Fire District No. 1 was dispatched at 4:31 a.m. for a structure fire at 800 S. Washington St., Lot 67. The first unit arrived at 4:36 a.m. and reported a working fire.
Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire, and all occupants of the residence made it out safely, according to the fire district. Two individuals were evaluated and treated on scene by EMS. The fire was under control at 5:08 a.m.
Millersburg Police protected the entrance to the South Washington Street mobile home park while firefighters addressed a trailer fire.
Mutual aid was provided by Prairie Township Fire Department in Holmesville, East Holmes Fire & EMS and Killbuck Township Fire & EMS.
The fire remains under investigation.
Fire Chief Brian Rafferty extended thanks to the Millersburg Police Department and the American Red Cross of Northern Ohio for assistance on scene.
