A clothing merchant at Sikes Senter has closed up shop.
On Monday, signs posted at the Aeropostale location indicated the store was permanently closed. The sign urged shoppers to visit the retailer online or at an Aeropostale in another city.

The sign said the business’s last day was Saturday. Only a cleanup crew was present Monday, working behind a locked grid.
Aeropostale, based in New York City, began business in 1987 as a specialty retailer of casual wear for young adults, according to the company’s website.
