Massachusetts has a lot packed into it: history, nature, culture, great towns and cities, beaches as well as so much more. It’s understandable to wonder why someone might want to leave.
But as it turns out, Commonwealth flyers like going all over the country and even outside of it. It makes sense since airlines like Jetblue added more flights at Boston Logan International Airport.
A Logan spokesperson provided The Patriot Ledger with a list of the 5 most popular summer destinations from the Boston airport.
These are the busiest routes out of Logan from this past summer, in no particular order.
San Francisco, California

San Francisco is known for the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island, where hundreds of people were incarcerated and, in 1969, would be the stage of a historic occupation and land protest by Native American activists that lasted 19 months.
Orlando, Florida
