New Jerseyans are in for a commute from hell on Friday after the train engineers union for NJ Transit went on strike as of 12:01 a.m. May 16.
“Due to a strike by locomotive engineers represented by the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen, all NJ TRANSIT rail service is currently suspended,” NJ Transit tweeted just after midnight.
From New Jersey mayors and members of Congress to commuters, it seems everyone was voicing their opinions on social media.
