One person has been arrested after a man was injured in a shooting incident on S. 10th St., according to the Lebanon City Police Department.
At 1:35 p.m. June 8, police responded to the 200 block of S. 10th St for a report of gunshots fired. Upon arrival, officers located a male who had been struck by gunfire.
“The male was transported to a local hospital, where he is receiving treatment for his injuries,” police said in a release. “An update on his condition will be provided at a later time.”

A suspect was quickly identified and taken into custody at approximately 4:20 p.m., with police not releasing the name of the suspect as of Sunday afternoon. Police added they are preparing charges, and “the identity of the suspect and victim will be released in a follow-up notification.”
“A preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect and victim were known to each other, and this was not a random act of gun violence,” police said.
