As we all know, Michigan’s weather can get a bit extreme, with blizzards, tornadoes, flooding and wildfire smoke. It also has a long reputation for being full of surprises with its often rapidly changing conditions.
That includes overnight Friday, as a round of severe thunderstorms with the capability of producing tornadoes crosses the state of Michigan. Tornado warnings have gone into effect in several areas of the state, including Livingston County until 12:45 a.m., northern Oakland County until 1:15 a.m. and Lapeer County until 1:30 a.m.
