A 50-acre agricultural burn near Junction City was sending residual smoke into the Eugene area on the afternoon of June 18.
Junction City Fire and Rescue reported smoke would be visible in the North River Road, Prairie Road and Highway 99 areas.
No homes or structures appear to be threatened by the fire.

The Oregon Department of Agriculture defines an agricultural burn as the burning of waste by farmers who primarily intend to use the land to generate profit by raising, harvesting, and selling crops or animals. Prohibited materials, such as tires, cannot be burned.
